Exploring Ireland and Irish Heritage:
A Slide Presentation and Talk by Denny Lynch
Saturday March 11, 2006 at 7:00 pm
In the grand common room of the historic Baltimore Hostel
Suggested donation $5.00
Photographer Denny Lynch returns to the Baltimore Hostel to share his hauntingly beautiful photographs of Ireland, this time as a slide presentation and talk about his travels there. Denny has spent over a decade documenting his family's Irish heritage. He has already had four exhibits of his work in Ireland and has spoken at historical societies there, as well as many shows and talks in the U.S. [You can see the listing for Denny Lynch's previous Ireland photo show at the Baltimore Hostel here.]
After the presentation, a reception with free refreshments and Irish appetizers will be provided by the Baltimore International College, a Baltimore school of Culinary Arts that also has a campus in Ireland.
This program is presented by Friends of Baltimore Hostel and Potomac Area Council of HI-USA. Hostelling International-USA develops intercultural exchange and understanding through hostels and programs across America.
The suggested donation is $5.00 - please help us match our renovation grant! Anything you can give will be appreciated and put to good use.
