The Maryland-Cuba Friendship Coalition presents TWO events at the historic Baltimore Hostel:


Saturday, June 17, 3:00 p.m.
Opening reception for LOVE, LOSS, and LONGING.

An exhibit of photographs and words of Cuban-American families affected by US government travel restrictions. Commentary by Marta J. Pola on how the travel restrictions have impacted her family. Refreshments. Free but donations welcome. The exhibit will be up through June 30.



Saturday June 24, 6:30 p.m.
Welcome the 17th Friendshipment 2006 Caravan to Cuba

Celebrate the annual travel challenge delivering tons of humanitarian aid to Cuba. Simple Cuban-style dinner and program. $10 donation.

Both events take place at the Baltimore Hostel, located at 17 W. Mulberry Street between Charles and Cathedral streets, by the Basilica of the Assumption and the Central Pratt Library in Mount Vernon. Garage parking is available one block north on Franklin Street at Charles Street. [ Map ]
